Role of an Advertising Agency

Like any sector or industry, advertising has also become a very competitive industry and has assumed a very professional role in its own field and area of function. With the market getting flooded with thousands of products and services every day, creating awareness about them becomes extremely important. How will people buy products and services if they are not aware whether they exist. This is where advertising agency takes on its role of promoting products and services.

Advertising agency is a service provider that helps its clients by developing suitable ad campaigns for them. Their aim is to represent its clients’ products and services before customers in such a way that a positive image is created in their minds.

The market is cluttered with products and services. To stand out from that clutter and to emerge as a brand product, you need services of an advertising agency. An advertising agency creates eye-grabbing and attractive ad campaigns to persuade customers to buy its clients products.

Advertising agency’s role start with the identification of its clients’ goals and objectives. This turns out to be of immense value in planning and creating the future course of action concerning ad campaigns.

Once an advertising agency gets acquainted with its clients’ business objectives, it starts creating and planning its ad campaigns. For this it keeps in mind certain points such as increasing sales, pushing news products in the market, restating benefits of its clients’ brands, and drawing new customers in addition to establishing and maintaining contacts with their existing customers.

An advertising agency’s professional teams put in their best efforts to develop attractive slogans, jingles, and body copy for ads. All this is done within the defined parameters of its clients and their budgetary allocations.

In some cases, companies like to completely outsource their marketing processes to an advertising agency. In such cases, an ad agency takes overall charge of marketing and promoting its clients’ products and services, ranging from brand development to strategising, to enhancing sales.

Advertising agencies differ in sizes. Some are medium sized while other are full fledged ad agencies, which are well equipped technologically and logistically to carry out ad campaigns of any size and through any medium.

Ideas for Free Advertising

Point # 1: What we did.

One of the most important tools essential for cutting overhead and creating local buzz is available in free advertising. There’s no sense in spending money that you’re not making. Don’t buy into believing that you have to spend money to make money. It’s obvious that when members spend money on you it’s because you’re worth it. Potential customers see more value in how your members spend money then how you spend money. So it’s time to show them what you’re worth!

Point # 2: How we did it.

As stated in Point # 1 everything you need to reach your target market (and more) is available in free advertising. Start by reaching out to other local businesses and community groups to support each other’s success. This is as simple as asking to place a few business cards on the counter for customers to grab at their time of purchase or during an event. Additionally, offer to place other businesses cards in your brochures and make a few referrals for them.

Lesson #1 “NOTHING TRAVELS LIKE WORD OF MOUTH.”

What we use as our main campaign is what we call “Talking Billboards.” Talking Billboards are members who are enthusiastic about our program and who we know will be enthusiastic when telling others. These members don’t have to be your most fit or toned. In fact, the best billboards are ones where others can see the results happening right before their eyes. So, just like partnering with other businesses and community groups-lesson #1 still applies. People will trust what they can see and hear, a walking/talking billboard.

Use your website to filter, track, promote, and communicate. If there is one item that deserves TLC and money it’s your website. Never forget the 6 B’s of marketing. Always go Big, Bold, and Brief to get the Biggest Bang for your Buck. Everything you do to market and advertise should call action to your website. It’s here that people will get a second introduction to your program and the affirmation they need to sign up. Before and after pictures with testimonials are the perfect ways to show people your guaranteed results.

Have you caught onto the theme of our first chapter yet? Let your existing members do your advertising, recruiting, customer service, and retention for you! While this is a win-win situation don’t think that it isn’t guided by a few extra tricks learned later in the course.

Need to know a trick now? Give something away for free!! Think we’re crazy? If you give something away for free… ANYTHING…a shirt, a pen, free lessons (WHO CARES) it is a guarantee that others will hear about your good deed. Everyone wants something for free and they love to tell others about it.

Point# 3: The results.

We could have spent thousands of dollars in newspaper ads, highway billboards, commercials, radio advertisements and the like. Instead, we increased business from 15 members to over 100 members in less than 6 months without creating a dime of additional overhead advertising expenses. Save yourself the time and the money. Create a “buy in” effect with every member you have because they are the greatest marketing tool at your disposal.

Our biggest result? Other than each and every member is now committed to better living every day, our biggest result is more free time. We unloaded the burden of wasting our time outside the program and invested it into the program. Now we can focus on what matters-our members-and they know they can rely on us.

A free tip…

Our program and marketing strategies cast a shadow over competitors because it is shredded of gimmicks and schemes others use to gain membership. Reach beyond your target markets by kicking old marketing and advertising habits out the window and generate business buzz, always the best advertisement for your business!

Importance of Advertising Agency

With the growing population of the world, it is a natural thing that there is a great demand for products of all kinds. This demand for products means that there is an obvious need to create such products and launch them in the market. Another factor at work here is the growing industry which manufactures everything imaginable under the sun. Hence, there is a subsequent need to let people know about these myriad products. Herein comes the concept of advertising. Most individuals are ignorant about many products. Since the company has come to the market with the objective of selling its product, the onus is on the company itself to let more and more people know about their product. It is through advertising that this can be done.

However, many companies are not sure about how they can go about promoting their product. There are many ad agencies that are professionals in the matter of advertising and are ready to work for companies who need to figure out how they will construct their advertisement campaigns. Ad agencies have experts in marketing and advertising working with them and they can help you create advertising campaigns with your products in mind.

There are so many competitors in the market that it is indeed a difficult task to grab the attention of people and transform them into your faithful customers. Your advertising campaign has to be such that it grabs the attention of people and forces them to take a look at your products. A good advertising campaign is important because even good products can go unnoticed if not advertised properly.

The advertising agency has to be one that can understand the thrust areas of your company and create a campaign that perfectly showcases your product and its salient features. This has to be done in the most attractive manner possible.

After you give the details about your company and your product to the advertising agency, they will work on the campaign. There are some basic objectives that most advertising agencies have. These include increasing the sales of the products that they are advertising for, attracting people with the advertisements and creating something out of the box which will make people take interest in the company.

There is a whole team that works on the advertisements. The advertising agencies always try to give their best for your product because they want to create a good impression on you so that you will refer others to their agency and remain faithful to their work.

There are certain companies who take advertising to the next level by giving all the responsibilities, right from creating advertisements to brand development and strategy, to the ad agency.

There are ad agencies of different capacities, ranging from small ones that only do campaigning and advertising to bigger ones that handle the product development, strategy and marketing. Although many companies have benefited greatly from outsourcing the work to ad agencies, you must do a decent amount of background research on the ad agency before bestowing a massive responsibility on them.
